The following areas encompass the core pillars which help me learn, and grow every day.
Vigilante Product ManagementAs an avid consumer of digital products, I surface bugs, and usability issues that I encounter in my frequented apps. I hope my findings help serve product teams, and my fellow users, alike.
Fundraising and Volunteering x Running
To pay forward the coaching, and mentorship I received through team sports, I have combined my love of baking (+eating) with running. To support youth programs with NYRR, and GOTR NYC, I donate all proceeds from a limited selection of sweets that I bake, and sell. I also help equip young girls with the tools they need to be healthy by developing educational programming with GOTR NYC. Major running projects include the TCS NYC Marathon (‘18, soon to include ‘21), and Popular Brooklyn Half (‘19). Results for all NYRR races can be found here.
CookingCooking serves as my homage to the forward-thinking purveyors of food. Doing so continues to help me learn, and exercise (1) careful attention to detail, (2) trust in the process (+people!), and (3) the importance of creative liberty.
Baking SweetsFun Fact: I have sweet teeth. I bake to (1) celebrate life events, (2) raise funds for youth charities, and (3) encourage folks to dig deep into how they can help our planet. Baking introduces a unique opportunity to both indulge oneself, and learn how the decisions we make (sourcing, prep for baking) help take a load off our planet.
Dogsitting
Teaching new tricks is just as important as learning them! Whenever possible, I teach obedience, and agility skills to the pups I dogsit. This training not only engages their minds, but also makes for great, endless afternoon naps. Please feel free to reach out if you need any support for your pup!
